DESIRE I spent lots of money there and I don't even regret it. Everything is wonderful and they're really kind, highly recommended!

….."Dad…I want to buy a birthday present for my friend. He collects rocks. I want to get him a mahogany obsidian…."…..

1)….I know nothing about rocks/geology…. 2)….wtf is a mahogany obsidian?!?!?!…. 3)….just go to the alley out back and pick a few rocks!!!!…

…..so off to Yelp I go to see if there were any places that sell rocks (I'm thinking whatta scam…get a few rocks from the local park and just slap a price on it)….

…there were a few places and based on the reviews I decided to take him here…. ….the videos and the pics online do not do justice to this place… …it is a massive store …..well organized….lots of selection from varieties, sizes and level of presentation…. ….the staff was very helpful realising we were green took the time to explain to my kid what is available and what would be a good choice… ….I gave him a $20 budget and he picked not only what he needed but a bit extra as well… …..this store would be great for any rock collector….or a school field trip(hint hint)…. ….the only criticism I have, it would be nice if they sell boxes for gifting…. …a definite gem in Vancouver… 😉

One of the absolutely most unassuming store fronts for a literal diamond amongst the rough! (Not in the rough) I’ve always wanted to find a gem / mineral / fossil store I could get myself lost in, and this is definitely that. The store is very large, well organized and laid out, and the staff I met (Adam and Desire) were absolutely amazing. The collection is vast and varied, well priced, and each type of item comes in various presentations (rough, tumbled, cut, polished, mounted, etc). From almost microscopic to huge geodes. You just genuinely can’t go wrong coming here even just for a visit, but chances are you won’t walk out empty handed if this is your groove. Have always been a mineral and gemstone fan and now I’ll definitely be a regular for RRG. Thanks for making it an experience guys! And if Arthur and Nathan see this too someday, was great meeting you too!! Do not miss visiting this shop! And no, my photos do NOT cover the entire shop at all!

Categorize my purchase as, superior. Nothing less than the very best! Literally, literally!! WOW, probably my best purchase to date. The smell alone is off the charts, deep, fresh, grounded. This place is Gem in the midst of concrete jungle. They have a plethora of natural stones/gems/crystals/fossils… one almost feel as though it were a museum. Their prices are fair.

The staff were all in good spirit and kind. Deborah is lovingly welcoming, helpful and insightful and her energy felt uplifting/energizing. Nico is also caring, kind and helpful.

To put words to the energy, it felt clean, open, pure and earthy, with a touch of wildness and adventure, this place holds a majestic essence.

I've been to and have purchased crystals/rocks from Rubble Rock and Gem the three times I have visited — each time was such a pleasant experience. My most recent visit I had to refrain from looking around to stay within my budget My love for crystals grew since my first purchase, and my obsession since watching my first live sale on IG!! Seriously; their stuff is legit, well priced, and plays a huge role in my spiritual journey, which I've just recently started. It's been awhile since I've felt a strong passion about something, and I always look forward to future visits/live sales . I had a wonderful experience at this store! The staff were amazing, incredibly friendly, and very helpful. The owner is a truly wonderful jentelman. I also had some great conversations with the staff and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The store itself is absolutely beautiful, with so much to see that you never get tired of looking around! A special mention to Debra, who was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She made the experience even better. Overall, outstanding customer service and a beautiful store. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner, or have been collecting for years and years, there’s tons for everyone. The staff are so helpful and overall just really great people as well to have a conversation with. The knowledge they have of every item in the store is mind blowing, my friend and I spent hours here. I bought some beautiful handmade jewellery, and my friend bought some crystals and fossils for her collection. It’s like visiting a museum! We’re looking forward to coming back and to see the new UV light room!

If you like crystals, fossils and geology, do visit this place. It looks pretty unassuming on the outside along Marine. Parking is available.

My friend and I were walking towards the skytrain when we spied upon this place and popped in. I have heard about it and followed its IG though I didn't pay attention to its location then.

My friend was enthralled by the fossils and stones. I was quite overwhelmed by the shop. It has lots of things and the space is huge.

I like crystals as I use them for healing purposes. Plus they are pretty. I love the wide array of crystals and gem stones.

I did buy some for myself and other friends who are into crystals too. I think the prices are quite fair.

Now I know of another place to get crystals.

By far the best Rock &Gem store around. prices and selection are unbelievable. amazing displays and something for everyone and every budget. Friendly, knowledgable staff make the shopping experience enjoyable.after visiting all the other gem stores in the lower mainland, this is the only place I will be going to for my collection. crazy cool fossils as well. owner Adam is very informative and experienced. definetly recommend checking it out.

I had a wonderful experience with Desire. This is my first experience here and it was amazing. They have such a good collection. I loved how she helped me with finding a perfect sapphire.

Just received my package and was pleasantly surprised – I was sent 4 different slabs instead of 3! All of them are beautiful quality and have an amazing variety of types and colors. For those who care, thickness varies from 4.5mm to 7.5mm. They will be perfect for my lapidary class, thank you 🙂

This place is truly a gem. In an industry where stores overprice crystals due to demand, the owner goes out of the way to give amazing deals. You seriously can check Etsy, Ebay or competition prices..he can't be beat for price and quality. I literally drive 45 minutes out of the way to go there. Why? Deals. The deals he gives on his lives on Instagram are insane and you can really build a good collection at an affordable price. I definitely recommend this store for value and quality! Drive or run to the store, I promise you'll be back!

This is the best and only place in Metro Vancouver for all your rock, crystal, and fossil needs. Not only do they have the most incredible selection and variety but the staff are always so helpful and informative. The prices are already very fair but if you are interested in getting deals, make sure to follow them on instagram for the live auctions! 10/10 would recommend.
